Mother's Day Cards and Older Projects

Good evening everyone,

I have been working on some Mother's Day cards.
And as you know in England it comes earlier than in the states.
I thought I would also post some older projects as well :)

So I will start with the newer ones and work thru to the older projects.
The first projects are the Mother's Day cards I have been working on.
I wanted something simple and pretty and had seen this sort of design
on cards. I like the honeycomb look :)
The flowers are cut out on my cricut expression machine, and
I used a free SVG file from  Bird's Cards and you can find them here
I followed her directions on how to make them look more real.
I also used a free SVG file from Bird's Cards for the pennant.
You can find them at the link above.
To make the hexagons, I used my MTC software and
sized them to fit inside one another.

Valentines Day cards
The stamp is from House Mouse designs. I used promarkers on the image.
I love how it turned out.
Other items used:
Papers from My Minds Eye
Sentiment from: Whimsy Stamps and Dies
Gems and Ribbon from stash
Flower Punch

This is another Valentines day Card I made for another friend.

Perfect Mailbox
This mailbox is a SVG file from My Scrap Chick you can find it here.
It was super easy to put together. I have made a few for some friends birthdays.
Side View
As you can see the mailbox does open. It can hold quite a bit of candy or other small items.

 Christmas Bag

I made this Christmas bag for my daughters teacher.
She really loved it, I put cookies in it for her along with
some peppermint candy canes.
The bags I bought from a local store, and then used some SVG's that I
got from SVG CUTS to spruce the bag up.  You can find the set here.

Beary Christmas

Here is a small Christmas card I made for a friend. It was really
simple to make but turned out so super cute.
The stamp is from FizzyMoon
and I used Promarkers to colour it in. I then used some string glitter to
add some dimension to the card.

Thanks for stopping by,
Cheryl

Happy St. Patricks Day

Happy St. Patricks Day everyone!
Hope everyone is having a fab "green" day :)

I have some projects for you today from Valentines Day.
Am still trying to play catch up on my posts, so will also show you my
St. Patricks Day cards I made as well, along
with a birthday card for my niece who is turning 1 in a couple of weeks:).
And while I have been away I won an award from Jennys Creations
you can find her wonderful blog here Thank you so much for thinking of me :)  It really means alot to know that I inspire people :)
So Thank you again

Now onto some very cute projects:)
I will start with the Valentines projects and work down to the St. Patricks Day Cards:)

This is the card that I made for my kids for Valentines Day. I created it on the Gypsy. I welded 2 hearts together from Gypsy Wanderings and then duplicated some of the hearts and made them a smaller size so they would fit on top. I then used an embossing folder to give it a bit of depth.

This was my husbands Valentines Day card. I again used my Gypsy to weld 2 hearts together from Gypsy Wanderings and hiding bits on it, I then used my MTC software and cut the flame and "Hot 4-U" svg out. I popped that up with pop dots. I then used TGF stamp and coloured her in with Promarkers. And added some light pink heart gems and used a white gel pen to finish it off.
I created the box for it by cutting some old scrap paper ,folding it  and then glueing it in the shape of a square and made a slit in the top for the card to sit in.

This is the treat bags I made my husband and kids. I used a Childs Year and cut the image at 3.50 width and 2.45 height. For the layer of the background I sized it the same and hid the center pieces. I used a Nestability and folded it in half for the image to sit on. and glued that to the tops of the bags.

This is the card I made for my niece that is turning 1 in a few weeks. I used MTC to create this card.
Isnt Tweety sooooo cute :) The inside of the card says 1st Birthday.
I punched some flowers and used my Kandis Rhinestone setter to put gems in the middle. I made this card so that they could cut Tweety from the card and put it in my nieces scrapbook:) The card is 6x6

And finally, this is the St.Patricks Day cards I made for friends. I used my Gypsy again and welded 2 hats from A Childs Year together and then cut out the lucky from simply charmed. I put black cardstock at the back of the card that had sticky tape on it. and then rubbed glitter onto the shamrock and the black bit of the hat to give it some bling. I cut out the buckle from the hat by welding 2 rounded squares together from Accent Essentials

Thanks for looking:)

Valentines Card

It is snowing here and very very cold outside !!
And I went shopping LOL , I wanted to get some craft items to make some valentines cards. I was going to go yesterday , but decided to wait til the kids were in school today. And when we got up...there was lots of snow on the ground .

Anyways , I got my stuff and decided to make a card for a challenge over at TrimCraft useing some of my new items.

I got some new Cuttlebug embossing folders . They are soo pretty !I also got some new stamps, border punch, papers, ink, rub-on images, flowers, glitter glue and a few other things as well .

I have only tried glitter glue a few times so I wanted some good glue and got the Glitz-It range...only a couple of bottles incase I dont like it. And I have not used rub-ons before so I thought I would try that out as well.

So the papers on this card are not my new ones.
These are from a site called PaperCraft Inspirations. I wanted to see how they printed off and if I would be able to use them. They turned out really nice. Its a Valentines set they have for free !
I like free stuff LOL.

The stamp is by Magnolia, I did alter her a bit after I stamped and coloured her in. I cut off the side ribbons. I used Whisper Strokes markers, Glitz-It glitter and Glitz-It pearlescent glue, and my Sakura Glaze pens on her.

I embossed the white card with my Cuttlebug embossing foler, and then took the Crystal Glitz-It glue on some of the raised images.

Added some ribbon and flowers to finish it off.

Thanks for looking :)

Creative Inspiration Challenge

This is the 1stproper challenge I have entered.
And this is also the 1st challenge for the New http://creativeinspirationschallenge.blogspot.com/ Blog.

I am not sure if I am supposed to explain what I used on my project. But I will do so anyways .

The theme is use something black , anything ,but black must be on the card someplace.

So I used black card stock . I normaly only use black cardstock for halloween cards, so this was weird for me. But I think the end result is really pretty !
The papers I used are some from a digital scrap kit I got. I dont remeber where from.
The vellum is from PaperMania .
I used pink ribbon , and I punched the flowers with a giga punch I have and then put pink brads in the center.

The Image is from The Greeting Farm, It is a digital Anya image . And she is very very pretty !
I used Sakura Glaze and Stardust pens on her. I also used Whisper Strokes Markers for the bright vivid colours.

Thanks for Looking :)

Valentines Card

This is the card I am giveing
my husband on Valentines Day.

I used digital paper that I printed off. I dont remeber where I got them from. I download a lot of kits for digital scrapbooking. The good thing about these types of papers, is you can resize them !!And print them again and again and again LOL

I also used pink peach ribbon ,Sakura Glaze pens, and red glitter.

I used a Cuttlebug Embossing folder on the bottom half of the card .

And the stamp is a Pink Poison "Anya" Stamp.
She is so pretty .I coloured her in with Whisper Strokes markers. I did not make them water colour. I wanted her outfit to be bright . I did change it afterwards to fit my card. I cut away the halo.

And my tag , well I dont have many stamps with words on them . So I found a font I liked and printed off my saying.
Thanks for Looking.
