Candle and Flowers

Today I went to the shops and got a candle so I could stamp it.
Not done it before so was wanting to try it out .
I really enjoyed doing that. I didnt realize how easy it was to do. And It turned out nice :)



So I was wondering around the store and I came across some silk flowers for 50p a bunch and bought some. I took the flowers apart so I could use them on my cards :) They are so pretty. Just thought I would share with you.

Hand-Stitched Easter Card

I made this Easter card from a template I drew. I hand-stitched the design useing embroidery thread. Then I watercolured the background to soften the image up.

Baby Boy Card

I am going to be an Aunt again . My sister-in-law has found out she is having a baby boy. So I made this card for her.

I hand-stitched Baby onto the white cardstock, made from a template I had made. Once I had that done, I went over the thread with a Blue Sakura Stardust pen , to give it a bit of sparkle .

Easter Card & Mother's Day Card

Good Morning to you all :)
This week has gone by soo fast!!

I have started making Easter Cards. And this is my 1st one .

I used some new items as well as old.

My mom sent me a box of "Scrapbook in a Box". The papers in it are really pretty. She found it in a thrift store. The papers had dates on them...but she said to me "Just cut the dates off" lol and use them"......so I did :)
There is a few Easter pages in the box. So I am going to try and incorporate them into my cards. So many papers in it for holidays and other seasonal things as well as birthdays . So its awesome I get to recycle them into something new :)

Mother's Day Card :

I made this card useing a picture from Scrapbook in a Box .
I thought it was delicate , so I didnt want a heavy looking card.
So this card is very simple and pretty .

Red,White, and Blue Flower Card

I wanted to make a card useing Red,White and Blue. These colours are very trendy going into spring and summer months.

Also Paper peiceing is not one of my strong areas..trying to match colours of papers and get the layout right , it is a bit difficult for me....where as other stuff is easier...So I have been doing more of it the last few days.

So I was sat playing about wth stuff last night .
And this is the end result , let me know what you think !!

Flower Pocket Card

Ok so I made 3 of these cards. LOL I was practiseing haha ...so I altered the card just a bit. Instead of having two petals that you pull out , I changed it to one. I think it turned out nice.
I really like these cards..they are simple but pretty . Also on this card..I glittered the background paper. Not something I normaly do either. But wanted to see how it would look .

Spring Themed Card

I was so excited making the first pocket card. That I made another one. This one is a bit bigger in size . I really like these cards. They are so simple but pretty . And they can be made for a huge variety of occassions.

Spring Themed Card

I was watching some card making videos on youtube last night. There are sooooo many of them !! Lots of great ideas and cool tips and techniques. I watched one on a pull card. I have not ever made one of these before and these cards were sooooo pretty !! Seemed easy enough to make as well . So I thought I would try it . This is the end result. Mother's Day Card #5

I have been having so much fun colouring in my new stamps that I decided to make another Mother's Day Card . I didn't put a sentiment on the card. I didn't think it was needed .

The Elisabeth Bell(SugarNellie) Stamps are soo pretty .

I also tried a new layout...I wasnt sure how it would look. I am very pleased with it :)

Mother's Day Card

I wanted to make a soft, light and airy Mother's Day Card.

So, I got to messing around with some of my stamps. And made this card. I really like it. The soft colours remind me of springtime. Flowers blooming, new leaves growing on trees .

I didnt put a sentiment on this card. I thought it looked pretty the way it was. :)
But I may end up adding "Mom" someplace on it...

Thank You Cards

I went shopping the other day with my daughter. And I went to a new store I had not been to before. And I was soooo excited. I think we spent 2-3 hours just looking at all the ribbon and flowers and other pretty stuff they had. So I bought some stuff, alot of stuff lol. I told the cashier they were very bad lol on my wallet . My daughter just laughed at me lol . We will be going back there !!The selectionof craft items is very good .

Anyways , I wanted to make some Thank You cards.
And I was watching a video on card making and got some ideas.
