Baby Card and Older Card Projects

My friend is expecting their first baby over Easter Weekend.
Such a great and wonderful blessing!

This is the card that I made for them.

I used Stampin Ups retired sets called Baby Tee's Gumbo wheel and
Curly Cute.

I rolled the gumbo wheel twice and cut out the
baby onsies and water coloured them. I then used pop dots to raise them
up off the card to give dimension.

I really liked how this card turned out and I hope my friend likes it too.

Now onto some older card projects.

Easter Daffodil Trifold Card
I used Tonic Studio Dies to create this card. I shaped the flower
dies with my Heartfelt Creations Flower Shaping Tools. Then hot glued them to the card.

 Watercolured Hydrangea Card
To create this card I used For the Love Of Stamps-
Flowering Hydrange stamp set. I masked the main flower and then stamped the leaves.
Added glitter accents to finish off the card.

Sympathy Card
I don't think anyone ever likes creating these types of cards.
I used the For the Love of Stamps-In My Thoughts stamp set. I stamped the background
images and the heat embossed the main flower image.

Messy Watercolour Dahlia Card
For this card I used For the Love of Stamps- Delightful Dahlias stamp set.
I heat embossed the main flower image and then masked the flowers off and stamped and heat embossed the leaves. I then watercoloured the
flowers and leaves drying between each layer of colour.

Fairy Card
This card was made using Tonic Studio dies and stamps.

Floral Card
This card was made using Tonic Studios dies and MFT stamps.

Fairy Card
I love this Fairy girl, love how its the back of her and she is walking away.

Floral Dress Birthday Card
I used Tonic Sudios Dies and some random stamps for this card.
Added pearl accents to finish it off.

Thank you for looking and hope you are inspired to create.

Crafting at Home Extravaganza

Hello, todays projects are from the
Crafting at Home Extravaganza that took place on Saturday
on Facebook.

I had so much fun taking part and I hope she does it again. The person who
was holding the event, really made me think
outside the box and put my crafting skills to the test.

So many people took part and the craft projects from everyone were fab.

These were my cards I made.

We were asked to make backgrounds. The first card I made was using one of those backgrounds. I used Stampin Up inks on a heat resistant mat, sprayed with water and then layed my paper on top and let it soak the ink up. I then dried it with a heat tool and then stamped the images on top. I used the Stampin Up Painted Petals stamp set.

My next card was made using the Stampin Up Too Kind and You've Got this stamp sets. This was a colour challenge.

The light house card was made using the Stampin Up High Tide and Wetlands stamp set. This was another colour challenge.

My last card was made using the Stampin Up French Foliage and Because I Care stamp sets. I created the background and then stamped the Hydrangea in Stazon ink and then watercoloured the flower.
This was also a colour challenge and the last project I made.

Below are some older projects I have made. Enjoy.

I love Poppies and loved making this card.

The 14th Birthday Card I made for my daughter using the Stampin Up Number of Years stamp set.
The next card was made using the Beautiful Day stamp set by AlteNew....LOVE this stamp set. I did what I call Messy Watercolouring on the image. I stamped it and heat embossed over the image and then just allowed the paint to spread out, dried each layer before adding more ink.

My last card was made using Tonic Studios dies and stamps. I shaped the flowers using my flower shaping tools by Heartfelt Creations.

Thank you all for looking, hope you are inspired to create.

Easter Banner and Cards

It's been a long time since I have posted on my blog.
Quick Update: My husband was diagnosed with extreme Crohn's Disease a while back, and was hospitalized and nearly died twice. So I took time off from blogging to help him and go to numerous doctors appointments. He will need to have surgery to remove part of his bowels. And at the moment he is stable and doing well. Crafting has helped me cope and deal with the stress of everything that has been going on. But with so many doctors visits and everything else trying to post my projects was just out of the question.

I have been doing some challenges on Facebook and other blogs and really want to show my cards and other projects to you all. So bare with me and over the next few days weeks I am going to try and post past/ new projects and then try and keep up to date on posting.

Here are some of my Easter projects.Thought I would start
with Easter since its next weekend.

My Easter Banner was made yesterday during a
Stay At Home and Craft Extravaganza that ran from 10am to 10pm
on Facbook! I really enjoyed myself and the lovely person that was doing it
really challenged all of us to be/get inspired and create.

Banner made using the Stampin Up What I love stamp set(retired).
The Bunnies at each end were cut on my Cricut Explore.

                            Here is a close up.

Easter Cards I made using the Stampin Up Circle of Spring stamp set.

Silhouette Easter cards using the Stampin Up Waterfront and Work of Art stamp sets. These cards were CASED from Tami from http://stampwithtami.com/blog/2018/03/hold-on-to-hope/

Here are some of my Easter projects from the last couple of years :) Enjoy.
                                                        Magnolia Easter Trifold card.

                                                            Close up of the sentiment.

How it looks standing all opened.

Rejoice Cross Easter Cards. I embossed the cross and added glitter accents.

Easter Bunny cards using glitter paste and stencils to create
the backgrounds. Cut out the bunny on my Cricut.
Did the same for the next couple of images just
switched out the stencils that I used for the backgrounds and the colour of the paste.

Thank you all so much for looking and I hope you all enjoyed these
Easter projects and are inspired to create. .
