Fresh Fruit

I sorted out all of my Stampin Up ink pads today, and got all of the retired colours set aside to use
for my water colouring (I have a lot of ink pads!!!). I was wanting to use some of the colours
that Stampin Up have not retired to make a card.

Am really liking the revamp Stampin Up has done with their colours.
They all seem to work well with each other now.

I am so tired of all the rain and am wanting warmer/sunny weather now.
But as seeing as Mother Nature is still sorting it out....I decided to make a bright cheerful card.

Fresh Fruit Birthday Card
Stamp Set Used- Fresh Fruit(retired)
I have had this set for long time and have never used it. Finally pulled
it out and had a play. I CASED the card layout off google.
Colours Used-Fresh Fig, Old Olive, and Berry Burst. I did
the rock and roll technique on the plum and then fussy cut it out.
To finish off the card I added Stickles to the centers of the flowers.

Thank for looking and hope you are inspired to create.

Stampin Up Colour Challenge

Today am showing some cards I made for the
Facebook.
Sadly I couldn't add my projects to the challenge cause
I didn't have all of the colours.
No worries though, soon I will.
The colours for this months challenge are below. Lovely, almost a country beach feel
to the colours.

I still wanted to join in the fun so I found similar colours.
I used: Island Indigo, Coastal Cabana,
So Saffron, and Sahara Sand.

 Stamp Sets Used:
Blooms and Wishes, Birthday Fiesta, and Gorgeous Grunge

Great challenge and great colours. I hope you will give it a try too :)

Below is a card I made for a friend.

Deer Card
Stamp Set Used: In the Meadow
I started off by stamping the deer image and then I put a mask over it. Next I stamped the tree images. After that I stamped the grass/floral image over the top of the deers to make them look like they are stood behind the tall grass.  I then used a Stampin Write Marker in Old Olive to fill in some of the grassy area. I took a dotted stamp and stamped in
Crisp Cantaloupe in the grass to make it look like berries or small flowers.
I then took a StampinWrite Marker in Chocolate Chip and went down the trunk of the trees. Last I water coloured the deer in Early Espresso and Chocolate Chip and then took the same Stampin Write Marker in Chocolate Chip to go over any lines that faded slightly. Last I added the sentiment to finish off the card.

Older Projects:

Dragonfly Card
Stamp Sets Used: Gorgeous Grunge, and Dragonfly Dreams stamps and dies.
I heat embossed the dragonfly and then I took Stampin Write Markers over the top of the image. I stamped the background and then added the image by putting some pop dots on the back.

16th Birthday Card
Stamp Sets Used: Stampin Up Number of YearsStamps/Dies
and Lilly of the Valley Sentiment Stamps.
I designed this swing card/layers in Design Space and then cut the card out on my Cricut Explore.
I also cut the roses out of my Cricut Explore.
Below images to show how the card stands.

Curtain Fold Card
I designed the Curtain Fold in Design Space and used my Cricut Explore to cut it out.
I added a sentiment, pearl and glitter accents along with a flower to finish off the cards.

Stamped Water Colour Background Card
Stamp Sets Used: MFT Flashy Florals stamps/dies
I wet the background card and then I inked each image up and then spritzed with water and then stamped down. Once I had all the images stamped I respritzed the background and then took a paper towel and lifted off some of the colour. Once dry I added black ink flicks to the image. I stamped the sentiment and then added the band and stamped flower to finish off the card.

Some Bunny Loves You
Stamp Sets Used: For The Love Of Stamps Hoppy Easter Stamps and JustRite Lilac Bouquet.
I inked up the background using Stampin Up Inks and then used a leaf image and
heat embossed it on top of the card in clear. I then stamped the sentiment and the bunny. I coloured the bunny using Stampin Up Inks. Added a bit of Wink of Stella to finish off the card.

Floral Happy Birthday Card

Stamp Sets Used : Stampin Up Happy Birthday Everyone
I inked up the background card using Stampin Up Inks. I then die cut the top layer and then die cut the branch out of it. I flicked ink on the top layer and stamped the Happy Birthday. I flicked Wink of Stella onto the card to finish it off.

Mother's Day Card
Stamp Sets Used: Tattered Lace Begonias stamps/dies
I stamped and die cut the image and coloured with my ProMarkers.
I die cut the background frame and layered it on white. I cut a strip and made a banner, stamped the sentiment and then used glue dots to adhere it to the card.
I added pearls and flowers to finish off the card.

Beautiful Day Boho Chic Card
Stamp Sets Used: Altenew Beautiful Day
I die cut a Tim Holtz die out of the white layer.
I then stamped and heat embossed the floral image in black.
After that I used Tim Holtz Distress inks
to do messy water colouring over the floral image. Added Wink of Stella
and Clear Gloss Liquid Embossing to add little
clear acrylic spots and some twine at the top of the card to finish it off.

Butterfly and Feather Cards
Stamp Sets Used: JustRite Butterfly Kisses Stamp
and random Feather and Sentiment Stamps.
I started off by inking up the base card using Stampin Up inks. I then heat embossed the Butterfly and Feather onto the cards in clear.
After that I used Chocolate Chip ink
to ink over the whole on the background and then wiped any
excess ink off the stamped images. I finished the cards off by adding a ribbon and sentiment.

Multi Layer Stamped Cards.
Stamp Sets Used: JustRite Lilac Bouquet and
WPLUS9 Pretty Peonies stamp sets.
I started off by cutting all of the matting layers. Then I took a little bit of double sided tape
and stuck each layer together right in the center (just a little tape).
I then stamped all of the images leaving space for the sentiment. I pulled the stamped layers apart and layered them on top of the coloured base card making sure to line up the layers so the images look correct. I finished off the cards by added glitter.

Thank you for looking and hope this has inspired you to create :)

Happy Easter

Hope everyone had a lovely and blessed Easter Day :)
I spent the day with my family. Very relaxed, and lots of good food :)
It rained here for most of the day, so we stayed in and watched some movies.

Here is a recap of all the Easter projects I made this year :)
Enjoy.

Easter Signs
Made these Easter Signs by painting and distressing the wood,
and then cutting out and adding the vinyl images to the wood.
On this sign I painted the block, then I used a stencil cut from vinyl
to paint the bunny on. After it was dry I put the vinyl Easter words on top.

Easter Cards
The Easter cards I mad this year for my family.

Easter Banner
The banner I made during the At Home Crafting Extravaganza.

Easter Bunny Treat Baskets
I cut these Bunnies out on my Cricut Explore machine.
I did NOT create this file, you can find
the svg for this file HERE

They were very easy to cut out, I used 12x12 paper for these.
Used Stampin Up retired stamps
on the little tags. My kids are all older now....but still need
a bit of chocolate on Easter. I have made baskets
for them since they were little.

Easter Flower Vases
I made these vases by recycling jars. I painted them, and once dry I used painters tape
at the bottom to mark off the top area. I then used Mod Podge and glitter to create the sparkly bottoms. Last I added some fake Peony flowers.

Thank you for looking, and hope you are inspired to create:)
