Hello, todays projects are from the
Crafting at Home Extravaganza that took place on Saturday
on Facebook.
I had so much fun taking part and I hope she does it again. The person who
was holding the event, really made me think
outside the box and put my crafting skills to the test.
So many people took part and the craft projects from everyone were fab.
These were my cards I made.
We were asked to make backgrounds. The first card I made was using one of those backgrounds. I used Stampin Up inks on a heat resistant mat, sprayed with water and then layed my paper on top and let it soak the ink up. I then dried it with a heat tool and then stamped the images on top. I used the Stampin Up Painted Petals stamp set.
My next card was made using the Stampin Up Too Kind and You've Got this stamp sets. This was a colour challenge.
The light house card was made using the Stampin Up High Tide and Wetlands stamp set. This was another colour challenge.
My last card was made using the Stampin Up French Foliage and Because I Care stamp sets. I created the background and then stamped the Hydrangea in Stazon ink and then watercoloured the flower.
This was also a colour challenge and the last project I made.
Below are some older projects I have made. Enjoy.
I love Poppies and loved making this card.
The 14th Birthday Card I made for my daughter using the Stampin Up Number of Years stamp set.
The next card was made using the Beautiful Day stamp set by AlteNew....LOVE this stamp set. I did what I call Messy Watercolouring on the image. I stamped it and heat embossed over the image and then just allowed the paint to spread out, dried each layer before adding more ink.
My last card was made using Tonic Studios dies and stamps. I shaped the flowers using my flower shaping tools by Heartfelt Creations.
Thank you all for looking, hope you are inspired to create.
Cheryl
